Milwaukee Wins Back-to-Back Series

The Brewers have already made their road trip a successful one winning back-to-back series against the Rockies and Diamondbacks. The road trip started in Colorado where the Brewers took 3/4 vs. the Rockies, including Freddy Peralta spectacular big league debut on Sunday. Besides a shutout on May 12th, the Brewer’s bats have been as hot as they come. Over the seven-game road trip so far they have a .283 AVG with 10.3 hits, 1.6 HR, 2.3 doubles, and 5.6 runs per game. While still striking out 8.9 times a game with an average of 15.6 baserunners left on base. Even with high strikeout LOB rates, the Brewers are still finding ways to score runs against good teams.

Looking Ahead

The Brewers head to Minnesota for the final series of the road trip starting Friday. We will see Brent Suter starting game one on Friday, looking to turn it around after a rough start in Colorado. Followed by Freddy Peralta on Saturday who is looking to duplicate his 13 SO performance. Lastly, Junior Guerra will be getting the final start of the series before heading back to Miller Park on Monday.
